This grip could not fit to your motorcycle.Even if the product describes you can use this, it may not be on your bike.I got one cuz it was supposed to fit my bike but it didn't. so I asked it seller(the brand Kijima) and they replied that 'This item is not compatible with Eliminator 450. Eliminator 450(US imported version) and Eliminator 400(Japanese domestic version) are completely different motorcycles.So I asked about the dimensions of the handlebars to official Kawasaki global and they replied 'The diameter of the EL400's handle bar is same as that of EL450's.'I sent this reply to the seller and got the reply 'The compatibility information on our website states that it is universal.Therefore, some processing may be required. Please understand that if a customer buys the wrong item due to a confirmation error, we cannot accept returns / refund.'.When I received this message, I gave up to claiming it and decided never to buy anything from Kijima.View Detail
The oil on this bike was due for a change and therefore, we also needed to source a new sump plug and also the washer that goes with it. It is always better to be safe than sorry so you don't have any leaks whilst changing. The part was not super hard to find by simply using the tools Webike provide on their hel pages and to be 100% sure, I also cross referenced with Kawasaki schematics. The price for the washer was really good value and added to the other parts in my order, the shipping worked out really cost efficient too. Shipped by EMS all arrived in 5 days. EMS are good value, very fast in delivering and better than some other couriers. All the items in my order were packed individually by Webike warehouse and all nicely padded out in the box so nothing could get damaged in transit. This washer came in the Kawasaki packaging and are really good quality. They are very well made and no tarnishing was found. The are only washers but as they are essentially crush washers, they are definitely needed. Fitted pretty easily and finished off this rebuild. No danger of a leaky sump plug now. My Yamaha SR400's OEM grips were too rigid and hard. These grips are very soft and pliable. It reduces the amount of force I need to apply to the handlebars and therefore gives me an easier time riding. It also feels very nice.
