KAWASAKI NINJA650

There were a couple of other parts that I wanted to get for my wife's Ninja 650 which will help protect the bike if there is any accident and double as stand hooks. These are what I decided to get and the added bonus is that not only will they protect the swingarm but you use them to lift the rear wheel with a paddock stand. Dual purpose which is brilliant. I found the correct part numbers by checking Evotech website and adding the model of bike. Very pleased to see that Webike also stock them, so purchased them from here instead. The price is roughly what I could get them for locally but I can count of Webike delivering my items on time and without a hitch. The shipping method I chose this time was EMS fast service. It was a very good price as I also had a few other parts in my basket and this cut the shipping down than just buying one or two parts. Everything arrived with me in 7 days. The outer box was sealed and the little bit of empty space inside the box was filled with bubble wrap. All my parts, even the smaller ones arrived in perfect condition. The stand hooks came in their own box which was nice and touch so there would be no damage. They have a really smoothed out thread on the bolts which went in smoothly, not notchy or sharp edged. They attach to the mounting points on the swingarm with no issue. The stand hooks themselves are made from a special nylon I believe, don't quote me on that though but they are very similar to the others I have purchased. I tried them with my standard paddock stand and they are a perfect fit, no wobble like some other stand hooks so a very good product all around. Very pleased with the result. I had forgotten about some of the smaller parts to refit the seat bracket and this included a few collars and bolts etc. Time to order all of those to help the project along. Finding the right collars was pretty easy as I had already seen the schematics for the seat section. These collars are small and yes, you could possible reuse the old parts but as this did not have any anyway, I needed to purchase them. For this project I needed 2 so added to my basket and a few other small parts. I had them all shipped together which would save a little on shipping costs too. Every little helps you know. EMS had my delivery made within 5 days from being shipped which you cannot argue with. These small collars and some of the bolts were inside a bubble wrap envelope to keep them safe and also to stop them from being lost etc. The packaging was a simple Kawasaki bag but that was fine. The collars are not really much to look at but they are very well made and are exact tot he specifications needed for the job in hand. Once fitted I will update my review. One happy customer. One of the final parts needed which we did not have was this damper for the rear. For some reason this was also missing from the box so I decided to just order a new one instead of trying to hunt down a second hand one. Basically, finding the right damper was easy by checking the Kawasaki schematic for the single seat accessory section. Then from there, just put the part number into Webike search and voila, the right part number and a cracking price to boot. So much cheaper than my local Kawasaki dealer could match. Along with a couple of other parts for this project, I had them all shipped to save on funds. Also, EMS are the best courier I have found using Webike for over a year now. They just deliver fast and on time. I know when my order will arrive as the tracking is accurate. Webike warehouse packaged my items very well and there was no damage to anything when I received them. The damper is a press fit one which aligns with the prongs on the under side. This was a very well moulded part and spot on fitment meant I had no issues. I cannot commend enough how well Kawasaki make their spare/replacement parts. Just fantastic. This was part of a larger order for replacement parts on the Ninja 650 that was in need of a rehaul. This instance was for the damper to the rear of the seat which was missing. Finding the right damper was easy enough as I used the schematics section on Kawasaki parts website. Once I found the right part on Webike, I added to my basket. The price from Webike was exceptional and very low cost for a great part. You could probably get away with using a piece of foam but this is made for the job in hand and at this price, why not. All my items were shipped using EMS and they delivered successfully in 5 days from being shipped. Everything was very well packaged and did not have an issue with any damage. This damper is small but it is a great quality damper. The adhesive is very sticky and super strong, I doubt you would get this off in one piece if you did not fit in the right place. This bike was actually a track bike and the owner now wanted to re add it to the road. Most parts were available but for some reason this part could not be found. Not an issue as this is a new model and the parts are becoming readily available anyway. Finding the right part was a little annoying as the schematics website kept crashing but eventually I got there. The cost from Webike was exceptional and far far better than I could source locally. With a few other parts for other projects already in my basket, I had them all shipped together and this was done by EMS. EMs are my chosen courier as they just get the orders delivered fast. In 5 days from being shipped my order arrived. All were present and correct with zero issues. The bracket came in the Kawasaki packaging and was also wrapped well by Webike warehouse to keep it safe. This bracket is very well made and by the looks of it, it is a moulded part. The finish is silky smooth and the paint is a nice satin black. This was one other part that was missing when we were putting this old track bike back on the road. The seat cover. Finding the right part for this year and model was straight forward enough. Once I found this I realised that Webike is the best company ever by far. The price was so much cheaper than I could ever source locally and I doubt I would get a second hand part for anywhere near the same money. I had this shipped along with a few other parts and all were shipped using my preferred courier. EMS, the order was delivered in 5 days from being shipped. The seat cover came in the Kawasaki box as it needed to be protected and in a box is the best way. It was also wrapped in poly material to help with any bump during transit. Upon receipt I checked all the parts and there was no damage to anything and all was perfect. The seat cover is a gorgeous glossy black and will looks superb once fitted. The finish is flawless and the quality from Kawasaki is just spot on. Honestly, I could not be happier with this seat cover and it is not even going on my bike. I do understand why most manufacturers put massive fender eliminators on their bikes from factory. But come on, no one wants a long part hanging off the back of their bike like that. It was decided to get a smaller and more functional eliminator and one we went for was the R&G branded one. I have recently used many o these kits for various bikes from R&G. I found the part by coincidence really whilst browsing through Webike R&G section. This looked a nice small and neat package so went for it anyway. This was added to my basket and order placed along with some other parts to keep the shipping low and spread out for the whole order. All arrived in 5 days. Yes, I suppose I could buy from R&G in the UK but there is relatively no price difference anyway plus, I already had items I wanted to order from Webike anyway. The eliminator or tail tidy as we call them here in the UK was packaged in a R&G box and then Webike packed all my other items in the outer box. Filled with bubble wrap, nothing could get damaged in transit. The tail tidy is a really good looking piece of kit. The paint is smooth and even and there are no sharp sections to catch you out. It is precision made and everything fitted together really easily. It comes with everything you would need for it to be legal on UK roads including the number plate light. The spacing for the indicators is perfect once everything was fitted. Finished in no time, just a couple of connectors and away you go. The harder part was putting everything back together. This is something a little different that I have not purchased before. Yes, I have used lever guards before but no from R&G. The lever guard is a re one which the customer specifically asked for. Not really sure why but if they want red, I order red. The price was really goo value as a the time, R&G items were on sale. My order was shipped via EMS and arrive n 5 days. All the parts in my order were perfectly packaged. The lever guar was wrapped n bubble wrap and was also inside the standard R&G box. The moulding is spot on. Nothing was out of place and it also came with all the fitment I needed for the bike. It is a very strong guard indeed, more than imagine so this was a nice surprise. This is a set for the Ninja 650 of a customer who wanted to add a little more protection to the casing of their bike. I have personally used GBRacing many times in the past for both my bike and customers bikes and know they are second to none for protection of you beloved. Finding the correct set was really easy as Webike do list all the models these kits fit. I also cross checked this with GBRacing website just to be sure I did not write the wrong number down. Really good price for this set from Webike and pretty much the same as I could source locally here in the UK. Yes, you can get other manfacturers who make sets like these but I have my own experience of how well these perform in the event of an off. They do take a good beating but essentially, these are to protect you casing. They also look really cool too. For all you get in this kit, the value for money is brilliant, 3 pieces in total and one of the best set of bolts you could ask for. There is the alternator cover and clutch cover and finally the pulse cover. Great price for a 3 piece set. The composite is not just plastic like some of the other kits you can buy, they have a percentage of fibre too for strength and durability. GBRacing have really done their homework here and I can confirm the durability is epic. All was packed out really well and even the small pieces were protected during transit. Upon opening the set box, I was really happy to find all was present and correct, the right amount of bolts etc is always a bonus. Having had previous experience in fitting these, it was a piece of cake. It's pretty much the same for each model anyway. Take your time, set out the individual covers and allocated bolts and it's alot easier than fumbling for the right bolt. The customer is really pleased with this kit and to be honest, I am too. This was purchased for the Ninja 650 to help protect the fuel tank from scuffs. This does happen with the leathers zip section so always best to help stop that in the first place. The correct part was not hard to find, I just used the search facility on Webike and narrowed down the search to OEM Kawasaki and fuel tank protection. There was a few to choose from but only this one was specifically Kawasaki branded for this model. The cost was pretty good for such a good tank protector and along with a few other items in my basket, I got them all shipped together to save on a bit of shipping cost. I generally use EMS these days as they just get the job done. I almost always get my order delivered within a week and more so in 5 days from shipping Webike warehouse. This was no exception, the order arrived in 5 days as expected. The outer box was sealed along each side and the inner was well padded out. With the tank pad being flat and needing to stay that way during transit, Webike had this taped to a large piece of cardboard to keep them safe. This worked a treat. The tank pad itself was packaged in a nice Kawasaki standard packet. They are flexible but do have some structure to them. They were slightly on the thin side but when you think about it, if they were much thicker, you would struggle to get it placed where you need it anyway. I am very pleased with the purchase and look forward to trying them out on the road as they also supposed to give a little grip to the tank too. Added bonus. Thanks Webike View Detail
