KAWASAKI VERSYS650

I thought it best bet for now to get a new tank pad which will cover any forthcoming scratches and then also add protection for any future scuffs. The correct tank pad was not hard to find, I just filtered the manufacturer and then model of bike and there were a couple to choose from. I deceided on the genuine Kawasaki one as it will fit as it should do with it being made for this bike. The cost was not too bad actually and better than I had seen for sale locally. With a couple of other tank pads for other bikes, I had them all shipped together via EMS. EMS just do what they say and get your order to you quickly. Mine arrived 5 days after the shipping date which is perfect. The entire order was neatly packed in the box, the tank pads were all kept nice and flat so there was no distortion which could have been a problem when fitting. The tank pad came in a Kawasaki packet and was neatly presented. The pad itself feels very nice and smooth but does have a bit of friction due to the materials used. I was expecting a slightly more domed gel pad but for what it is, it's fine for my needs. Fitting was straight forward and when on without issue. This is a set for the Versys 650 of a customer who wanted to add a little more protection to the casing of their bike. I have personally used GBRacing many times in the past for both my bike and customers bikes and know they are second to none for protection of you beloved.Finding the correct set was really easy as Webike do list all the models these kits fit. I also cross checked this with GBRacing website just to be sure I did not write the wrong number down.Really good price for this set from Webike and pretty much the same as I could source locally here in the UK. Yes, you can get other manfacturers who make sets like these but I have my own experience of how well these perform in the event of an off. They do take a good beating but essentially, these are to protect you casing. They also look really cool too. For all you get in this kit, the value for money is brilliant, 3 pieces in total and one of the best set of bolts you could ask for. There is the alternator cover and clutch cover and finally the water pump cover. Great price for a 3 piece set.The composite is not just plastic like some of the other kits you can buy, they have a percentage of fibre too for strength and durability. GBRacing have really done their homework here and I can confirm the durability is epic.All was packed out really well and even the small pieces were protected during transit.Upon opening the set box, I was really happy to find all was present and correct, the right amount of bolts etc is always a bonus.Having had previous experience in fitting these, it was a piece of cake. It's pretty much the same for each model anyway. Take your time, set out the individual covers and allocated bolts and it's alot easier than fumbling for the right bolt.The customer is really pleased with this kit and to be honest, I am too. I bought these to replace 15k OEM pads on my second hand SV650. The original ones still had meat on them but appeared glazed and possibly contaminated, nevertheless, it's the first time in my riding career where literally the first use of new (un bedded) pads was magnitudes better than the old, bedded ones. The lever is now harder, and there's actually a proper bite to the front brakes. Slightly aggressive while still remaining progressive, and overall much more performant than the old pads. Installed the ZETA magnetic drain bolt on my bike and it fits perfectly. The build feels solid—lightweight but strong. About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the material used is a durable rubber with a soft texture. About the feeling of use, The most comfortable grips in this price range and they are well matched to the modern styling of the Grom with their shape and pattern. Products to buy together, A new throttle tube, specifically a quick throttle tube from Kitaco would be ideal to add to your cart. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the soft rubber Doctor grips for my installation was average due to the difficultly removing the original grips in one piece as I wanted to retain them for re-installation in the future if needed. Cost performance and comparison with other products, Pricing of this product is great. You receive an extremely comfortable grip using high quality rubber at a price the other brands can not match. About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 48 hours of me placing the order and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. There were a couple of other parts that I wanted to get for my wife's Ninja 650 which will help protect the bike if there is any accident and double as stand hooks. These are what I decided to get and the added bonus is that not only will they protect the swingarm but you use them to lift the rear wheel with a paddock stand. Dual purpose which is brilliant. I found the correct part numbers by checking Evotech website and adding the model of bike. Very pleased to see that Webike also stock them, so purchased them from here instead. The price is roughly what I could get them for locally but I can count of Webike delivering my items on time and without a hitch. The shipping method I chose this time was EMS fast service. It was a very good price as I also had a few other parts in my basket and this cut the shipping down than just buying one or two parts. Everything arrived with me in 7 days. The outer box was sealed and the little bit of empty space inside the box was filled with bubble wrap. All my parts, even the smaller ones arrived in perfect condition. The stand hooks came in their own box which was nice and touch so there would be no damage. They have a really smoothed out thread on the bolts which went in smoothly, not notchy or sharp edged. They attach to the mounting points on the swingarm with no issue. The stand hooks themselves are made from a special nylon I believe, don't quote me on that though but they are very similar to the others I have purchased. I tried them with my standard paddock stand and they are a perfect fit, no wobble like some other stand hooks so a very good product all around. Very pleased with the result. If you ever change the front sprocket, then this is a part you really do need to purchase. Yes, you are ok to re-use these once more after initial fitting. You could try and wing it a little and re-use but for the sake of a few pounds, why would you risk it especially with something so vital. At the end of the day, who wants the sprocket nut coming off because you did not buy a new washer right. I always have more than one item in my order as this saves on shipping, the same in this case. All were sent via EMS which arrived 5 days after shipping. The order was well packaged and all the items inside arrived in perfect condition. These Kawasaki lock washers come in the Kawasaki standard packaging and were also inside a bubble wrap envelope for safety. I purchased 2 as they always come in handy. The construction is sturdy and very well made washer from Kawasaki. Excellent quality OEM part as always from Kawasaki.
