A customer came in with this old beauty Yamaha XJ 900 that needed a bit of a service. The oil filter needed changing out as it had been sat in a shed for a number of years. Strangely, the bike still ran which was a shock. Anyway, with a few other parts for this project, all my order was shipped via EMS and arrived in great condition in 5 days. HiFlo oil filters have been around for years and if memory serves me correctly, a lot of the big manufacturers use these branded in their own name. So, solid choice usng a HiFlo. These filters have a great life span and are pretty cheap. Yes, you can get more expensive ones, but for a bike this old and how often it would be ridden would be a waste. I have used HiFlo for a long time and they have never let me down. The quality is awesome, the threads are always spot on and no bad incidents fitting. No problems at all with them. The old filter was a little tricky to remove due to age so needed a little persuasion. After it came off the new filter was a breeze to fit. There is no substitute for the factory items.Generally older oem Yamaha parts are overlooked for their elevated cost for used parts. This starter relay included all the necessary cables, mounts, and rubber boots which most Yamaha's from that time used. Such a joy to have period parts.couldn't be more pleased with the results. This was installed to replace the dreaded ticking with no crank issue my webike bought solenoid gave me .This one will plug in directly with no splicing needed,I have been use this products for months now.I'm happy with what I ordered.. parts number 3AY-81940-00 and 4KD-81940-00 looks identical.
