I think there will be no problem with durability as it is an OEM processed product. However, when I received it and opened the package, it was rusty. I had a feeling that making it lighter would make it harder to ride on the streets, but I thought a 20% weight reduction would be a good idea, so I installed it this time! Just as they say, Response has improved! The engine feels lighter and blows faster! The engine feels lighter and has a great boost! Even when the engine was stalling before, I would only use the accelerator operation, and even if the rpm dropped, the Response was so good that it would immediately blow up and rev up, allowing the torque to recover and continue driving. The difference between the OEM Flywheel and the EnduranceLightweight Fly Wheel is the cutting process of the StarterClutch attachment part to reduce the weight! ! In order to replace the flywheel, you have to port the starter clutch from OEM flywheel to the lightweight flywheel. If you don't use a heat gun to sear the screw lock, the Torx bolts will be licked. There are some screw lock traces on the bolt, so you can scrape them off with dice. Next, the starter clutch has 3-piece structure, so when you remove it from the OEM Flywheel, you have to be careful not to become RoseRose. Especially the spring and rollers of the one-way function may come off, so be careful when you remove the flywheel.
Since the Lightweight Fly Wheel is an OEM product, there is no problem with the power generation and no power shortage. Moreover, there is the effect of NEOBore up, and there is no lack of torque at low speed, and it turns in a good mood from bottom to top. By the way, the centrifugal oil filter was removed as well... The effect of the Lightweight Fly Wheel is to improve ”EnginePickupResponse”. It is a good idea to buy Endurance's off-the-shelf products because if you do the processing yourself, you will overdo it and the Idling will become unstable. It is also cosmetically pleasing. Endurance must have many years of Know-how. Idling is stable and EnginePickup is improving well. As expected, it rises quickly to the high RPM range. The Lightweight Fly Wheel alone is effective, so those interested should give it a try.
The following are required as Special Tools for installation. ・Fly Wheel Holder ・Fly Wheel Puller ・Camshaft SprocketHolder
The work itself is not that difficult. If you follow the instructions in the service manual, I don't think you will fail. Be aware that the GEAR on the back side of the Pulley is reused, so when relocating it, the Screws are tightened by Torque, so you should use an Impact Driver. Plate is located behind the Pulley, so don't forget to relocate it as well. Screws are securely fastened with screw locks.
While removing the flywheel, we recommend that you check the Camshaft Chain Tensioner Roller and CamGuide Roller for wear and tear.View Detail
