This cyclone is partially manufactured in Yoshimura Asia (Thailand).
The Slip-On GP-MAGNUM Cyclone is a wildly upmarket take on the Monkey 125 identity, with styling, sound, performance and price to match.
From the bend of the pipe to the line of the silencer, each and every detail has been carefully considered and adjusted to fit as if it had been originally installed. On the other hand, the black and gold Yoshimura emblem and the engraving on the end piece appeal the high quality and presence of the Yoshimura Cyclone.
Although it is a slip-on type that uses the standard exhaust pipe halfway, the diameter of the pipe, the length of the pipe, and the structure of the tapered part that connects to the silencer have realized the output characteristic that exceeds the standard in the whole range. Especially, it is designed to increase the power from 5500rpm to the peak, and you can get a good feeling of acceleration.
While the standard exhaust weighs 3.5kg, the GP-MAGNUM Cyclone weighs 2.2kg (*SC type), which is approx. 40% lighter. Because of the high center of gravity of the up type, the weight reduction will greatly improve the feeling when driving.
The exhaust sound is finely tuned to sound quality and volume so that it can be heard comfortably. The bass sound that resonates from the idling doubles the fun of riding the Monkey 125, and is a comfortable sound quality that does not tire you even when riding for a long time on a tour.
YOSHIMURA's logo is placed on the rubber of exhaust spring to prevent resonance noise.
Points of Attention

The exhaust came with all necessary parts for installation except a new honda OEM exhaust gasket (code: 18391-HB7-000). I've seen others reusing the old one, but this should definitely be replaced, as it can get damaged upon removing. It's made out of a graphite composite so it's quite fragile. The exhaust sounds really nice and the fitment was spot on, so no adjustments were needed. It's not too loud, but your neighbours will definitely hear you. Overall, I think this is the best exhaust that you can get for the Honda Monkey. The Webike team replied really fast and the order reached my country in 3 days.If you order one, choose the titanium finish. It's the best looking. I went with the satin finish because it looks classy and it was a moderate price.View Detail
I've been riding my Monkey 125 for over 3 years and bought this Exhaust System for over 2 years. ? volume (sound) A little more gentlemanly than other Full Exhaust SystemType. I think that the dB notation is difficult to understand, so I actually experimented with it, and my impression is that the Idling volume is about the same as two Normal muffler MONKEY125s. If you open the Axel, the echo effect will be a nuisance to the neighbors in a residential area at night, so I think you should voluntarily regulate the Axel opening level. However, it is a quiet category compared with the Full Exhaust System. The sound quality is loud enough to not get tired while touring or commuting. I think it is good for Exhaust System without too much noise. When it is cold, the volume tends to increase, and when it is hot, the volume tends to decrease. In other words, the power up feeling is the same. It is a matter of course because the oxygen concentration and gasoline concentration are adjusted. Power up and power down feeling Is it less sticky at low rpm? It's just a feeling. Level, so you can assume that it is the same etc. Level. Mid to high RPMs on uphill roads. "Oh, climb a little harder." So you can feel the power up feeling. ? looks It's a personal feeling, but I personally think it's the most If you want to customize the NORMAL look and feel, the Silencer is the top level choice for size and handling. ? feel of a material I don't feel like I'm cutting corners on Body, Bracket, etc. ? If you want to exchange The front of the silencer is tightened with the engine bolt, so two tools such as Deep socket, Extension and Ratchet or Twench are required. If you don't have Glasses, MONKEY, Deep socket or Extension, you can't replace it. You need to pay attention to the gasket and you need a joint gasket. By the way, if you are worried about the exhaust leakage, you can use the Liquid Gasket of DAYTONA. The most beneficial vibration In the NORMAL mode, when idling, the mirror confirmation shakes in a way that cannot be confirmed properly, and at about 60 km/h, the Handlebar vibrates a lot. I haven't seen any blogs or anything lately, but it looks like a lot of people are trying to replace the Bar End and whatnot. The cause of the vibration is the long distance from the exhaust joint to the silencer which amplifies the engine vibration and transmits it to the handlebar. However, this exhaust system does not amplify the vibration of the engine because the front of the silencer is tightened together with the fixed bolt of the engine. So it automatically becomes a vibration reduction measure. This benefit, Large, offsets the negative aspects of commuting and touring, so you can reduce unnecessary expenses. If you are worried about the vibration and want to change the exhaust system, this is a good choice. ? About exhaust heat Honestly, I don't Recommend riding in shorts. You can't drive it at all, but you shouldn't drive it with your legs open and have a Hold relationship. If it's a pair of pants like Denim, it's a little hot when you turn the engine and hold it.View Detail
I wanted to keep using my favorite Under Guard. I chose the Slip-on Silencer even though there is also a Full Exhaust System of Up type. (I haven't actually been able to test if the Full Exhaust System will interfere, sorry.)
And as I'm getting older, I'm starting to feel uneasy about the neighbors' eyes. This is why I chose the Exhaust System, which has a numerically low 84dB.
The exhaust noise wins at the beginning of the run. It's just that if you get to speed, the RPMs will drop and the Noise will win. I certainly don't feel that it is a burden for Touring to flow down the main road.
The tone must be good. I like it when the exhaust sound starts to connect with the sound. When the RPMs are low … I don't like it because it sounds a bit poppier. So I don't think I'm aware of it, but there are times when I'm tempted to open Axel.
It may be because of the narrow width of KIJIMA's Seat. When I put my right foot down at a traffic light, Silencer is hot because it is sticky. When I stepped on the footpeg with the base of my thumb, Calf hit the corner of Silencer and was hot. It is For a normal ride, though, … there's no way to guess. So I'm looking for a silencer heat guard rather than an exhaust pipe cover.
In terms of installation, the engine hanger bolts are It's better to loosen the Left Side Bolt instead of the Right Side Nut of the vehicle, apparently. You have to have the skills and tools of a PRO to stand up to the teeth. Please be careful.View Detail
NORMAL is the sound of Engine, and the exhaust sound is the wind cutting sound of Helmet You don't hear that, do you? I searched for the Exhaust System I thought to use a normal look Takegawa made for cost performance, but I did not expect it YOSHIMURA at this price? I bought it because I thought it would be a good buy I'm happy to hear it However, there is a little pitfall in the installation process, which continues from the exhaust pipe Because the fixed position of the pipe will be co-tightened with the engine hanger bolt, it is necessary to set the Socket to I licked it and had it loosened up at a familiar motorcycle shop back to NORMAL Spanner and Glasses Wrench will not work You'll need a solid Socket, an extended ROD, and two sets of long Spinner Handlebar toView Detail
