[Special Clutch Kit TYPE-R (6 Disc Specification) Detail] ■Adopted the right crankcase cover for both The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum. The surface of the cover is buffed and clear coated. The right crankcase cover shape can be used for both wet and dry clutches. After purchasing the special clutch (wet type), you can change the specification to the dry type clutch.*Specification changes require the separate purchase of SP Takegawa specified parts.
■Forged aluminum clutch cover The wire clutch uses the rack and pinion system, which is known for its light and smooth operation. The cover is made of forged aluminum and the surface is shot blasted. By removing the clutch cover, the clutch spring, clutch plate and clutch friction disc can be easily replaced.

■Change of clutch unit By changing the crankshaft from the stock crankshaft (primary side) to the main shaft (secondary side) of the transmission, the rotational mass of the crankshaft is reduced and the durability and throttle response of the crankshaft are improved.
■6-disc specification By reducing the diameter of the rotating parts such as the clutch outer compared to the conventional product, the loss of horsepower due to oil diffusion is reduced, the response is further improved, and the rotating mass weight is reduced by approximately 12%, so engine power can be transmitted without waste. Six friction discs are used to achieve a six-disc configuration. As a result, the capacity of the clutch is increased by approx. 20% compared with the conventional product, and it is applicable to high power engines.
■Specifications of the clutch The clutch can be selected from two types: slipper clutch or standard type (without slipper clutch mechanism). The slipper clutch reduces the shock of sudden engine braking when downshifting at high RPM. This reduces sudden posture changes, rear tire hopping, and load on the engine.
■Clutch outer: Built-in rubber damper to reduce shock to gears, etc. when clutch is engaged.
■Lifter plate The slipper clutch has a die-cast aluminum lifter plate. Standard model (without slipper clutch mechanism) has a lifter plate made of machined aluminum.
■Clutch Springs: Excellent fatigue resistance and stable clutch feel.
■Optional parts can be installed Oil cooler unit: By installing the oil cooler unit to the oil element, the oil can be taken out to the oil cooler.
