Fits: YAMAHA Cerro 250 3C54, YAMAHA Cerro 250 3C55, YAMAHA Cerro 250 3C53, YAMAHA Cerro 250 3C56, YAMAHA Cerro 250 3C52
Overall this is a fantastic rack. Being a official Yamaha part it fits my 2008 XT250 (Serrow250) perfectly. It has low clearance above the rear fender, enough to get bungee straps under it but low enough to give it a fairly sleek look. Fit and finish are what you would expect for an offical part - the silver color perfectly matches the stock silver highlights on the bike. The tubular steel is very stiff and the rack feels secure and can hold about whatever you want to mount on it.There are less expensive racks out there, but I got this one for a couple reasons.- many aftermarket racks only use 2 of the 4 mounting points which gives a very unstable feeling.- this is the only rack I could find that has some style of built in passenger hand holds. I find this very useful for moving my bike around in my garage. It's not as comfortable as the stock passenger hand holds because it is made of square tubular steel instead of round, but it still gets the job done.Mounting is fairly straightforward, you need to remove the seat, side plastics, and loosen the rear light. It's not the most simple job but it can be done without unplugging any of the light harness. One tip I would suggest is to insert the included hole grommets before you mount the rack. I didn't and it was a major hassle getting them in with the rack on the bike and I wound up ruining one of them. The grommets fit very tightly, putting them in hot water before mounting really helps soften them for inserting.Shipping to the United States was very quick. Packaging was nothing special but it was secure and came here in perfect condition. View Detail

[How is it used?
I wanted to add a box to my SEROW and was looking for a Rear Carrier. This carrier of Y's Gear is
It didn't have the FinalSEROW fitment on it and only had the Large Threshold Carrier for Adventure.
I bought it because it seemed to be able to be installed at least.
Was the one you received as per Image?
Simple, compact and good quality. It is Y's Gear as expected.
How was your experience with it?
I was able to install it with FinalSEROW. However, the clearance with the Rear cowl is about 5mm at the narrowest point.
I also installed the Base on top of the Carrier because I was planning to install a GIVI Box.
The Base installed without any problems, and since it was installed on a RedSEROW, what would happen if I painted it Red?
So I painted it with Red.
[Points to note]
The installation is complicated, and it is installed in a circle of wisdom kind of way.
I separated the Black Cowl that surrounds the Rear cowl and Tail lamp, and then I separated the Carrier.
I installed it.
How did it compare to other products?
I thought about the Other Brand Product, but since Y's Gear was a good fit for me
I've got it this way.

[How is it used?
As Base to install Box of Hard case.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The carrier of SEROW250 is out of several companies from OEM to Other Brand Product, and I was worried about which one to buy.
To tell the truth:I like the design of ALPHATHREE's sports carrier, but the price is too high and I gave up.
Realistically. "Rough and Road. Material:Aluminum was my first choice and I was on the verge of buying it, but because of the material, the load capacity is 2kg.
The big Carrier for TwoSEROW is too big for my use...
This is the one that I finally chose after checking Webike's impressions to the point of opening a hole! "YAMAHAAY's Gear "Rear Carrier The reason is that the Design looks sturdy and safe.
Was the installation difficult?
See Webike's impressions. "Clearance is tight, and if you add Base for Box later, you'll have a hard time." Because there was the person who wrote, "I installed Base for Box first.
First remove the Seat, Rear Fender, Stuck Bar and Silencer because the clearance of each part is narrow...
Maybe it's not surprising since I don't reuse the Stack Bar, but when I found out they were even removing the Silencer ? This was the case.
Follow the Instruction Manual as you don't want to damage both as a result of ignoring the work.
If you are a beginner, you should be prepared or ask a PRO to help you.
After you... "Quintessential ManufacturerOEM (Option) parts." It has a sense of refreshing that makes you feel like you're in the middle of the world, and it blends in with the design of SEROW without feeling out of place.
How was your experience with it?
The design is simple and the steel construction is strong!
[Included Parts:were they on?
Instruction Manual and Bolt & Nut are included in the package.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?

Point and hang of installation
As I mentioned above, you will need to remove the Seat, Rear FenderSilencer, and Stack Bar (Side grip) before installing the Rear Fender. Please read the instruction manual carefully.
I think that it is better to install Base first if you install the box of GIVI etc. (It is thought that the gap is narrow and it is difficult after installing Carrier...)
[Availability and clarity of the Instruction Manual
It is very easy to understand and illustrated, as expected of an OEMOption product.
[Notes]
[ITEMS TO BUY TOGETHER
As written above, the person who uses Box should buy it at the same time and install Base.
[Opinions and requests to Manufacturer
If the design was the same and the material was made of Duralumin and had high strength, I wouldn't complain, but the price would be too high.View Detail

I bought this rack to make it easier to carry luggage for longer trips. The 4 tie-hook points are a great and useful feature which enables me to throw a large waterproof bag on the rear of my small motorcycle using bungee cords. The weight limit is stated at 5kg but honestly I am 100% certain it would be fine with more than 20kg as the construction is very sturdy and the fitting is extremely secure using the existing bolts and threads from the OEM grab handles. The finish is good overall but the plastic hole-plugs are difficult to insert without damage to them. This is a very minor issue. Excellent value for money and looks really good too! Highly recommended.View Detail

The existing Adventure Rearack felt uncomfortable off-road, so it needed to be easier. So I chose this product and it was an excellent choice. Although it's old-fashioned, the color matches well with my serow. The size is reasonable.View Detail
